200 candidates come out in flying colours in JEE Cgarh CM congratulates students

Maximum 112 students selected from Prayas Boarding Schools

Two hundred candidates had passed the All-India Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (JEE) main examination from Chhattisgarh State for which the results had been declared.

Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh congratulated the successful candidates and wished them a bright future. School Education and Tribals’ Development Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap congratulated the candidates.

It may be mentioned here that out of 200 candidates selected 112 students belong to the Tribals Development Department run Prayas Boarding Schools.

The schools operate in five Divisional headquarters- Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Ambikapur and Jagdalpur (Bastar).

Two schools for boys-girls operate in the capital Raipur. The students from Left-wing Extremism (LWE) affected districts are selected and admitted to XI standard in the Prayas Boarding Schools on merit basis.

Apart from regular studies the students are given coaching for medical and engineering entrance examinations also.
