Manohar Parrikar released from hospital; reaches Goa
Amid speculations over his health, Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital.
It need be mentioned that Manohar Parrikar was undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital.
Congress MLA Isidore Fernandes informed the floor of House that Parrikar has landed in Goa by a special flight.
Security has been beefed up in the area before Parrikar’s arrival.
Parrikar was admitted on February 15 at Lilavati Hospital after he complained unease in the stomach.
The Chief Minister’s Office issued a statement saying he was being treated for “inflamed pancreas”.
The Prime Minister has also visited Parrikar in the hospital on Sunday evening.
In Parrikar’s absence, BJP MLA Francis D’Souza was made the leader of the BJP legislature party. >
