US Counterterrorism Coordinator Nathan Sales sounded upbeat on the strategic partnership between India and the United States.
He said that it is an incredibly valuable and close counter-terrorism partnership.

It need be mentioned that Sales interacted with the reporters during a teleconference at the conclusion of the conference on Law Enforcement Efforts to Defeat ISIS.
He said that leadership in both countries have resolved to forge ahead to create a really powerful partnership.
During Modi’s visit to the US in June last year, India and the US had vowed to strengthen cooperation against terror outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba and D-Company.
The two countries also urged the Pakistan to ensure that its soil is not used for terror strikes against other nations.
Sales said the Trump administration has announced a number of designations related to terrorist threats that India faces.
In 2016, the US entered into an arrangement with India to share information about known and suspected terrorists.
