Ashok Choudhary, 3 others join in JD(U); after expulsion from Cong

list included former Bihar minister and former state party president Ashok Choudhary as well

After four Congress Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) were expelled on Wednesday night, the leaders announced that they would join in the Janata Dal United.

It need be mentioned that four had been expelled for anti-party activities in Bihar.

It was said that Bihar Congress President Kaukab Quadri expelled the four party legislators.

The list included former Bihar minister and former state party president Ashok Choudhary as well.

The

other three expelled lawmakers are Dileep Choudhary, Tanvir Akhtar and Ramchander Bharti

.

In his media interaction, Ashok Choudhary announced that they would join the JD-U.

Choudhary, considered close to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, also praised Bihar CM and described him as an “ideal leader”.
