AAP, BJP sit down to resolve sealing issue; heres events that followed
In a bid to resolve the situation emanating out of ongoing sealing drive in Delhi markets, the two rival parties BJP and AAP held a meeting in national capital.
The meeting was held at the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
As expected, the meeting soon turned into an argument rather than an attempt to resolve the situation.
It is said that mere ten minutes into the meeting that BJP Chief Manoj Tiwari and his delegation walked out of Kejriwal’s house.
Even AAP later resorted to protests and sloganeering against the BJP.
Police, who escorted the BJP leaders from the area, also got into a scuffle with several protestors from AAP who were chanting slogans.
AAP leaders said that BJP was not in mood to find resolution of the problems but only wanted to politicize the issue.
However, with no resolution in sight for sealing drive, the traders continue to remain anxious. >
