AAP, CAIT to oppose sealing of business establishments in Delhi; heres more
Clearly on the backfoot on the issue of disqualification of MLAs as parliamentary secretaries and office of profit issue, the Aam Aadmi Party will hold a day-long bandh on Tuesday in Delhi to protest the ongoing sealing drive by the BJP-ruled civic bodies.
The party will also voice its opposition to the central government’s decision to allow cent percent FDI in retail sector.
AAP leader Gopal Rai said that partymen be they from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha or other stakeholders, will take part in a march to the Parliament on 29 January over these issues.
He said that BJP-ruled civic bodies were trying to further deprive the locals of their employment opportunities in the name of sealing business establishments.
Meanwhile, what should concern BJP is that the even the industry body Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has decided to observe ‘Delhi trade bandh’ to lodge their protests against ongoing sealing of business establishments in the city.>
