Abhishek Bachchan is making a Solid Comeback, Watch Video

Abhishek Bachchan reveals that Manmarziyaan director Anurag Kashyap and he had difference while they collaborated for the film Yuva.

Abhishek Bachchan, is making a solid comeback with Manmarziyaan on the celluloid after a break of two years.

Manmariyaaaz, directed by Anurag Kashyap, is a love triangle which is being produced by Aanand L Rai.

The trailer of the movie has already left everyone curious with the audience waiting to see what happens when a storyteller known for his usual dark movies directs a romantic movie. But did you know all was not well between Abhishek and Anurag a couple of years ago?

It was during the time of Yuva (2004 Mani Ratnam movie). Abhishek in a candid chat with DNA revealed that Anurag perhaps did not like his work in Yuva and hence there was an unsaid turmoil between the two which they have not now put behind themselves.

He said, “That’s history now. I first worked with Anurag in Mani Ratnam’s Yuva (2004); he had written it. I don’t think he liked my work in the film (laughs). And it’s only fair because we had spent a lot of time doing readings for the film. So somewhere, maybe he felt a little disappointed when he watched the movie. But we never spoke about it. Now, we’ve put all that behind us.”

He added, “Manmarziyaan ticked all the boxes because I instinctively knew that I wanted to be uncomfortable, have sleepless nights and this guy was going to help me do that. Also, I would never allow ego to come in the way of my work.”

Abhishek also spoke at length about his 2-year sabbatical and how the break had instilled the fear of people forgetting him. He also spoke on how Manmarziyaan happened to him. The movie releases on September 21, 2018.
