Even as lynching of a man in Alwar has once again sparked off a debate over hatred between communities, this has not deterred right wingers from taking law into their own hands.
In the latest case, the 25-year-old Muslim man was assaulted by a group of rightwingers at a court in Ghaziabad.
The assault came about as he had gone to marry a Hindu woman there.
He works at a Noida firm.
It has now emerged that the man went to court to register his marriage.
In footage circulated on social media, the man was initially dragged and then thrashed by group of men.
He is seen in a busy street wearing a brown shirt and jeans.
The thrashing continued as per local media outlets till the time a policemen intervened.
Police have registered the complaint and is on the lookout for the accused.
The woman is said to be from Bijnore in Uttar Pradesh.
The couple has refused to file any case against the attackers out of fear.>
