Adani group promises Rs 35K crore investment in UP; over next five years
It is indeed the largest state in terms of sending in the Members of Parliament and thus the government of the day had to focus on employment generation ahead of the national poll.
It is in this context that Uttar Pradesh hosted investors summit in which the Adani Group today said it will invest Rs 35,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh over the next five years in various sectors.
Promising to stand with the leadership in transforming the state, Gautam Adani of the Adani Group committed an aggregate investment of Rs 35,000 crores in UP.
He was also speaking at the inaugural session of the Investors Summit- 2018 here when he said that his group companies would invest in energy, logistics, solar power, roads and agriculture sectors.
Almost 17 percent of the total population of the country lives in Uttar Pradesh and the development story of the country cannot be written without the state, he added. >
