ADGP Sanjay Pillai : Police Officers should work with servitude

Foundation training of newly-appointed Deputy Superintendents of Police commences in Chhattisgarh Police Academy Chandkhuri

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) (Training, Administration and CAF) inaugurated the foundation training of 18 Deputy Superintendents of Police selected in year 2016 by Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission, on June 11.

On the occasion, ADGP Mr. Sanjay Pillai congratulated the newly-appointed Deputy Superintendents of Police and said that service in police department is a public service and it should be done with utmost servitude.

He guided the newly-appointed police officials to attain training with discipline, improve physical and mental strength, understand the expectations of common people from police, responsibilities of a policeman, and how to maintain positive image of police in the eyes of common people.

In his inspiring speech SP, Chhattisgarh Police Academy, Mr. Jitendra Rana informed the trainees about the qualities that are expected in an ideal police officer, about to how to overcome challenges, to maintain unbiased approach, and how to built a strong bond between police and public.

On the occasion, ASP Dr Sangeeta Peters informed the trainees about the resources available at the academy, infrastructural facilities and training policy, and informed them about the subjects and skills in which these new officers will be trained.

In the inaugural programme, vote of thanks was proposed by ASP Mr. Mirza Ziyarat Beg.
