After the Pune police, now the Delhi Commissioner of Police Amulya Patnaik has allegedly received an e-mail that threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The email is said to have stated that PM Modi would be killed, as per police version of events.
The one line e-mail reportedly claimed that Prime Minister Modi would be killed in November 2019.
The mail was reportedly sent to the official e-mail address of the top cop in Delhi.
The email has been reported to security agencies who have been put on high alert as the Prime Minister is expected to hold several rallies in this particular month, as per reliable sources.
So far the police has been able to trace that the email was probably sent via a server that has been straced to North-East.
However, cops were yet to nab the culprit who had sent the threat e-mails.
The police investigation was initiated as soon as the senior cop received the threat mail, reports suggested. >
