The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday arrested Rhea Chakraborty’s brother, Showik Chakraborty, and Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager, Samuel Miranda, after drug peddler Zaid Vilatra revealed their association with him. Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti took to social media to express her feelings after the arrests in the case. She thanked God and requested for guiding them in the direction of truth.

Earlier, on Friday morning, when the NCB raided Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda’s residences, Shweta wrote, “Good going NCB… Thank You God. #GreatStartNCB (sic).”
The NCB is investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case along with the CBI after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) found evidence of a drugs angle while probing a money-laundering case against Rhea Chakraborty and her family.
Showik and Samuel have been arrested under sections 8c, 28, 29 of the NDPS Act. Section 8c of NDPS Act means prohibition of certain operations in which no person shall produce, manufacture, possess, sell, purchase, transport, warehouse, use, consume, import inter-state, export inter-state, import into India, export from India or tranship any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance.
Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda have been taken for medical test today. After their test, they will be taken to the magistrate court in Mumbai by the NCB.
On Friday, after the raids, Showik and Samuel were taken for further questioning by the NCB officials. During the questioning, Showik Chakraborty confessed that he used to buy drugs at Rhea’s behest. The NCB sources claim that he was facilitator not only for Sushant Singh Rajput, he also arranged narcotics for some other Bollywood stars.
