The agitating staffers or employees of the Sanjivni 108 and 102 Mahatari Express continued their protest in Raipur of Chhattisgarh today.
Protesting to get their six-point demand fulfilled, the staffers today had their heads tonsured as mark of protest.
At least 15 of the staffers of these medical services had their heads tonsured in Idgahbhatta ground of capital Raipur.
With the two services protesting the real pain is being borne by the patients of the state.
The state government meanwhile has has made alternative arrangements but that has so far not proven to be enough.
The ambulance services staffers meanwhile have handed over their ambulances to the district health departments across the state to be able to continue with their protest.
The prominent demands of the agitating services includes that state government relieves them of contractual service and makes their services as under the government.
They are also demanding eight hour work tenure as is required under labour laws.>
