Ahead of election, Uttar Pradesh CM had this to say on Ram Janmabhoomi dispute

It is indeed one of the most contentious issues in the Indian politics and becomes all the more intensified ahead of the national election.

But now days ahead of Supreme Court set to commencing the hearing in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title dispute case, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath made a statement.

He said that if the top court cannot resolve the matter, it should “hand it over to us” and it will be resolved “within 24 hours.”

The Uttar Pradesh CM said that the issue was being prolonged unnecessarily by adding the title dispute in the case and that the people’s faith in institutions was being tested with the ongoing delay in the case.

He alleged that it was the Congress which wanted the case to be delayed as an early resolution of the matter and a law on triple talaq would bring “appeasement politics to an end.”
