In a snag that developed suddenly, a Delhi-bound Air India flight from Jodhpur with 142 passengers on-board was diverted to Jaipur yesterday.
The snag was that the landing gear of the aircraft failed to close up after take-off.
This was also confirmed by the officials of the civil aviation.
Most of the passengers thus were forced to take the road route to their destination while a few were adjusted on Alliance Air flight to Delhi from Jaipur.
This was later also confirmed by the Air India.
It was also said that since the problem of the landing gear could not be fixed at Jaipur, the snagged airplane was flown to the national capital without the passengers on board.>
