In a shocking news report, an Indian airliner gotten delayed by several hours just because one of the ground staffers forgot his phone.

It so happened that as the plane began taxiing to depart from London’s Heathrow, the airliner commander got the news that a ground staffer had left his cellphone in the aircraft.

He then decided to stop the aircraft, have a flight attendant open a door and drop the phone to its owner.

The incident occurred on March 18, when seconds into taxiing, the commander of the Boeing 787-800 (VT-ANP) found out about the unaccompanied cellphone.

The commander then informed the ground staff to ask the engineer to reach the aircraft and collect the phone.

The flight’s departure had to be delayed because of this nice gesture.

The flight that had begun rolling at 2pm finally departed at 3.46pm.
