Ajay Devgn thanks to Sonu Sood for sending migrant worker’s home

The nationwide lockdown imposed to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus has resulted in many migrant workers being stranded away from their homes. Actor Sonu Sood has been arranging transportation for these workers, to ensure that they reach their homes safely.

Appreciating Sonu Sood’s initiative, actor Ajay Devgn took to Twitter on Tuesday and wrote, “The sensitive nature of the work that you are doing with sending migrant workers back to their homes safely is exemplary. More strength to you, Sonu @SonuSood #IndiaFightsCorona #StayHomeStaySafe.”

Indian cricket team opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan also lauded Sonu Sood for his efforts. He wrote, “Indian cricket team A big salute to you. @SonuSood for your heroic efforts in making sure stranded migrant workers get to reach their homes.”

Replying to Dhawan, Sonu Sood wrote, “Thank u so much my brother. India knows when @SDhawan25 is at cease “WE ARE HOME”. I promise, I will stay at this crease till the end and make sure that every migrant will say we are home (sic).”

Earlier, the actor had donated 1,500 PPE kits to doctors across Punjab. He had also opened his Mumbai hotel to accommodate healthcare workers and aid them in their fight against the novel coronavirus.
