In men’s singles, Lakshya Sen entered the quarterfinal beating Thomas Rouxel of France, 21-18, 21-17.

However, HS Prannoy and Sai Praneeth lost their men’s singles pre quarterfinal matches today.

Prannoy lost to top seed Kento Momota of Japan, 21-15, 21-14, while Praneeth went down 21-15, 12-21, 12-21 to World No. 2 Viktor Axelsen of Denmark. Sameer Verma will take on Anders Antonsen of Denmark later today.

In mixed doubles, the duo of Ashwini Ponappa and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy also lost their second round match to Yuki Kaneko and Misaki Matsutomo of Japan.

In Men’s Doubles, pair of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy will take on Danish duo of Kim Astrup and Anders Rasmussen.

In Women Doubles Ashwini Ponappa and N Sikki Reddy will face the pair of Gabriela Stoeva and Stefani Stoeva from Bulgaria.
