This they did after assurances that their demands would be considered.

The Ambedkar hospital Superintendent Vivek Chaudhary also confirmed the development.

Though it had been claimed that the emergency services would not get disrupted, the patients were nonetheless affected.

The strike had been called in view of the dispute that took place in the recent past.

They also had other demands that they wanted conceded before they resumed their work.
