Amid controversy sorrounding Justin Trudeau’s visit; a photograph has stirred it all the more
The controversy has already been that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau may have been cold shouldered during his ongoing India visit.
So much so that the visiting dignitary himself had to clarify that he believes in on United India.
But that controversy just does not appear to die down once and for all.
This is because now a photo has emerged out in the public domain where the visiting Prime Minister’s wife is seen in a photo with a ‘convicted’ Khalistani terrorist Jaspal Atwal at an event in Mumbai on Tuesday.
The image was shared by a media outlet.
Here she is seen posing for camera with Atwal, who was active in banned International Sikh Youth Federation.
As per reports, Atwal was also invited for a formal dinner with Canadian Prime Minister; but the invitation was later rescinded.
Even Canadian Minister of Infrastructure and Communities Amarjeet Sohni was photographed with Atwal.
If the talks of cold-welcome to Trudeau are true, the incident hints once again at the Trudeau’s less-than-ambiguous support for the Khalistani movement.
It also needs to be recalled that Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh had handed over list of nine category ‘A’ Canada-based operatives alleged to be involved in hate crimes, terrorist activities and trying to radicalize young people and children in Punjab as he met Trudeau.>
