Even as India Iran ties are reeling under difficulty due to US pulling out of the nuclear deal, the former is trying to complete its commitments at the earliest.

The government stated that this timeline has been decided upon even amid the threat of renewed US sanctions against Tehran.
The Indian-backed Chabahar port complex in Iran is being developed as part of a new transportation corridor for land-locked Afghanistan.
It could also potentially open the way for millions of dollars in trade and cut India’s dependence on Pakistan.
The port would also offer access to central Asian states.>
