Amit Shah’s proposed meet at Airport stirs controversy; Jogis cite violation of rules

Set to visit Chhattisgarh to make poll related discussions with the state BJP leadership, the BJP President Amit Shah and his proposed meet at the Raipur airport is now a matter of controversy.

This is because Jogi Congress supremo Ajit Jogi has expressed his objections to the Airport being utilized at BJP party office.

Ajit Jogi told media persons that Raipur Airport is not a BJP party office where the national President may convene a political meeting.

It need be mentioned that Amit Shah is on a visit to Odisha and would take a halt at the Raipur Airport for one hour to hold meetings with party leaders of Chhattisgarh.

It is from here that he would depart for Odisha capital.

It is pertinent to note that Chhattisgarh is due to hold state election later this year.

BJP is keen to continue ruling the state for fourth consecutive term and thus preparations are underway for the purpose.
