Andhra Pradesh woman ties lover to cot, sets him afire

A woman reportedly burnt her paramour alive after tying him to a cot during bondage sex allegedly following a financial dispute at Choutapalli village under Konakalamitla mandal in Prakasham district late on Saturday night. The duo were partners in a poultry farm business.

The deceased was identified as Sheik Shabbeer (32), a native of Podili, who worked as a home guard at Marripudi police station. The woman, Shakeera (28), also from Podili, surrendered to police after the murder.

Besides working as a home guard, Shabbeer had a poultry farm business at Choutapalem. Both Shakeera and Shabbeer were married to others but continued their relationship. They used to meet regularly at the poultry farm.

According Podili inspector M Srinivasarao, Shabbeer and Shakeera were having financial disputes for the past eight months. On Saturday night they decided to meet at the farm. Srinivasarao said Shakeera planned to kill him and came prepared with petrol.

She offered bondage sex to Shabbeer which they had frequently. After tying him with steel chains to the iron frame cot, Shakeera poured petrol on him and set him on fire. Workers alerted cops in the morning.

Later, Shakeera surrendered and admitted she killed Shabbeer. A case was booked under section 302 of IPC.
