Anshita wins gold medal in SGFI National School Games, heres more

In an exciting start off, Anshita Rawat of Madhya Pradesh State Martial Arts Karate Academy won the first gold medal in the Under-14 (-42 kg category) in the National School Games organized by SGFI (School Games Federation of India) from December 26 to 31, 2018.

Rawat won the gold medal by defeating Assam player 1-0 in the finals in the individual Kumite event today.

Praising academy player Anshita for her performance in National School Games, Director Sports and Youth Welfare Dr. S.L. Thausen expressed joy and congratulated her.

He hoped that players of the academy will give good performance in the National School Games to be played till December 31 and will bring laurels to the state by winning more medals.

It may be noted that four players of the academy are taking part in the National School Games. They are Pritish Verma in Under-14 apart from Anshita and Gargi Singh and Ashni Singha in Under-17.
