Baghel argues for Chief Minister,as head of unified command, to appear before Jhiram naxal probe
Speaking in Chhattisgarh Assembly, State Congress President Bhupesh Baghel took potshots at the state government and said that as high as 76 security personnel have been lost in a single naxal incident, such is the grave situation in state.
Baghel said that while there have been cases of political assassinations around the world, it is Chhattisgarh where massive Jhiram Ghati naxal attack like incident took place.
It need be mentioned that Jhiram Ghati naxal attack took place on May 25 of 2013 and it eliminated almost the whole of the frontline state Congress leadership of the time.
Baghel also took potshots at one of the senior ranking police officer of Chhattisgarh.
He also asked as to why the conspiracy angle is not being pro-actively probed into the Jhiram Ghati naxal attack.
Baghel went as far as to claim that if he names somebody in connection with the probe into the political killing of 2013, who will take responsibility of the safety and security of that person.
He also asked why the Chief Minister has not deposed before the Jhiram Ghati probe commission because he is the head of the unified command.
Baghel said that as head of the unified command, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh should have shared his info with the probe commission. >
