Amid struggle for separate Balochistan from Pakistan, the Baloch Republican Party spokesperson Sher Mohammed Bugti has now alleged that there are now growing incidents of human rights violations in restive region.
It need be mentioned that Balochistan is the largest in terms of land area and also on natural resources in the whole of Pakistan.
Focusing on the Pakistan Army’s ongoing genocide, Bugti said that enforced disappearances and killings of indigenous Baloch have remained unstoppable in the province.
He said that the people in Balochistan are living in utter poverty with no access to the basic needs like drinking water and food.
He added that the region has no facilities for good education and healthcare also.
Balochistan is the hub of China’s multi-billion dollar project called China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
China has developed Gwadar Port in Balochistan to supply its goods to European market.
Bugti accused China and Pakistan of jointly looting resources of Balochistan whereas the locals are living in poverty.>
