Bengaluru : President to participate in annual Convocation of NIMHANS

President Ram Nath Kovind, will participate in the 22nd Annual Convocation of the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences “NIMHANS” in Bengaluru today.

Mr Kovind will give away degrees and awards to 150 post graduate students during the convocation. AIR correspondent reports that the President will also dedicate three projects at a cost of 200 crore rupees at NIMHANS.

During the convocation programme the President will dedicate 50 crore rupees worth 125 bed, Dr. R.M.Varma Sub Speciality Block for Neurosciences at NIMHANS. He will also dedicate 50 crore rupees Medical Cyclotron Facility and 100 crore worth Intraoperative MRI with three operation theatres.

Apart from this , Mr Kovind will also lay foundation stone for Rs.50 crore worth Speciality block for Psychiatry and Rs. 50 crore worth Central Laboratory Complex. Latter the President will participate and inaugurates Seva Utsav 2018 organised by Adamya Chetana and Inaugurates Centenary Celebrations of National High School and Dr.H.Narasimhaiah Birth Anniversary Celebrations in Bengaluru.
