Bhoramdeo tiger reserve and monkey sterilization centers in Cgarh;heres how
In a crucial meeting held of Chhattisgarh state Wild Life Board, approval was granted to declaration of Bhoramdeo wildlife sanctuary as tiger reserve and a proposal in this regard would be sent to the National Tiger Conservation Authority in New Delhi.
According to the proposal, the Bhoramdeo sanctuary would encompass 624 sq kms and 318 sq kms would be designated as core area while remaining would be buffer area.
The decision is set to hike the eco-tourism in state of Chhattisgarh.
Another crucial decision was that of instituting of monkey sterilization centers in Koriya and Raigarh districts.
A third crucial decision was that of initiating a scientific survey of birds in the state of Chhattisgarh and in this objective, help from Bird Count India would also be sought.>
