Political tempers might calm down as the state government made another major decision in connection with the cane charging of the Bilaspur Congress workers.
Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh himself made the announcement that the officer in the center of allegations will remain attached to the Police Head Quarters till the time the Magisterial probe is not concluded.
While the cane charging has acquired national proportions with even Congress chief and his sister Priyanka Vadra tweeting on it, the fact that the state election is due later this year is also not helping matters for the ruling party.
The CM made the annoucement that the officer ASP Neeraj Chandrakar will remain attached with the PHQ till probe in the cane charging case concludes.
This also comes as Chhattisgarh Congress President Bhupesh Baghel had spoke of ‘massive welcome’ for the Prime Minister Modi as he visit Chhattisgarh on 22 nd of this year.
