Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad led the BJP delegation to meet with Election Commission in Delhi today.
The BJP leader said that the party has demanded for declaration of West Bengal to be declared as super-sensitive state.
The senior party leader told media persons that ECI must ensure deployment of central forces at all polling booths in the state.
BJP leader Prasad spoke of having conveyed to the EC that Bengal’s track record in free & fair election is very very deplorable and that
recently, 100 people were killed during local body & gram panchayat polls.
Ravi Shankar Prasad also spoke of having urged the ECI to take action against Rahul Gandhi for levelling unverified allegations against PM while
speaking in Ahmedabad.
This is as the Model Code of Conduct is already in effect.
