New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesperson Sambit Patra on Tuesday took to Twitter to announce that he has been discharged from a hospital. Patra was admitted to the Medanta hospital in Haryana’s Gurugram after developing COVID-19-related symptoms.
Patra, however, added that he has not recovered fully yet.
“I have returned home, thanks to the good wishes from all of you. However, complete recovery will take some more time,” tweeted Patra.
In response to the news shared by Patra, Delhi BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga tweeted: “Achieve complete recovery, and I will come and have tea with you.”
BJP leader Sambit Patra was admitted to the hospital in May.
