Raipur: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday said that it would force the ruling Congress government in Chhattisgarh to deliver the various promises it had made to the people including 50% waiver of property tax to the people as well as residential plot to those who do not have their own house.
Raipur South Legislator and Chairman of the BJP’s Election Manifesto Committee Brijmohan Agrawal made the above statement while addressing a press conference at Ekatma Parishar after releasing the election manifesto for the Civic Bodies Elections during which the former Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dharmlal Kaushik were also present.
BJP has come up with 36 Agenda for the Chhattisgarh Civic Bodies elections. Brijmohan further claim that BJP would ensure people get justice as attempts would be made to ensure that government delivers the promises it had made to the people. He said that with government failing to announce 50% waiver on property tax this year, the BJP Council if voted to power, would made 100% property tax waiver next year.
BJP’s Civic Bodies election in-charge Amar Agrawal said that people would teach lesson to Congress for snatching the vote to elect their Mayor directly and added that government cannot take away the rights of people for the development of their surroundings.
