Bodies of sisters found hanging in Noida; heres what police is saying
In a suspected case of crime, bodies of two girls were discovered hanging from a tree in Barola village of Noida Sector 49 early on Tuesday.
The two girls are said to be sisters, aged 13 and 18, and their mother checked on them around 3 am in the morning to find them sleeping.
It is reported that the mother checked on them again around 4.30 am but found them missing but assumed them to have gone to attend nature’s call.
It was later when she heard villagers making noises that she came to know of the daughters sorry fate.
Neighbours, however, bolted the house from outside suspecting honour killing.
The girls’ family could come out only after the police came and brought the bodies down from the tree.
Although police are treating the case as suicide, the victims’ mother accuses a distant relative.
The girls’ father is a sanitation worker at a private hospital in Sector 50. >
