Bomb blast claims over thirty in Pakistan’s Khyber region, know more

In yet another terror attack, at least 31 people were killed with more than 40 injured as bomb blast ripped through busy market outside a religious seminary in Pakistan’s restive Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Among those killed included three Sikhs as well.

It is said that the explosive material was planted in a bike in the Juma Bazar.

The bomb may have been place near an imambargah, which is a Shia religious place.

It is close to the border with Afghanistan.

Officials said that most of the victims were minority Shia Muslims, who in the past were also targeted in the area.

The area has been cordoned off and investigation into the incident is under way.

An emergency has been declared in the region’s hospitals to handle the situation.

Prime Minister Imran Khan strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Orakzai tribal area.

Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari blamed the the US failure in Afghanistan for the attack and warned Pakistan to be prepared for more such incidents.
