Boy victims had this to tell police of their ordeal in Bodh Gaya monastery

In the sensational sexual assault episode of Bodh Gaya monastery, the police has now revealed some of the chilling details on the victims.

The sexual abuse of minor boys is said to have taken place in a monastery in Bihar’s Bodh Gaya.

Police officials now claim that the young boys were being used as sex workers by Bangladeshi Buddhist monk Bhante Sanghpriye Sujoy.

It was Sujoy who was at the helm of the operation.

The case is of Prajna Jyoti Novice School and Meditation Centre.

Police have so far arrested Sujoy who was running the monastery under scanner.

It is also being said that more than a dozen children have now lodged complaint of being subjected to physical and sexual abuse.

Police revealed that the boys told investigating officers how they were being employed as sex slaves and were even sent to Kolkata several times for the same purpose.

The International Buddhist Council (IBC) has meanwhile summoned an emergency meeting as response to allegations.
