Buddiji declines Padma Shri; says its nothing to do with politics
Reiterating that this has got nothing to do with the politics, Karnataka spiritual seer Siddeshwara Swamiji, of the Jnana Yogashram in Vijayapura, respectfully declined to receive the Padma Shri award for the year 2018.
He said that he has so far not accepted any honours in his life.
Well known as Buddiji, he was camping in Kalaburagi for a month since 17 January for spiritual discourses.
In his interaction with the journalists, he insisted that he was a simple man living a simple life with the main purpose being the preaching spiritualism to make people of all walks of life happy.
Jnanayogi Shri Siddheshwar Swamiji, who is often referred to as the ‘Walking God of North Karnataka’, was born and brought up in Bijjaragi in Vijayapura of Karnataka.
He is well known to deliver hard teachings in a pleasant and enjoying manner. >
