Caller ‘from India’ insisted to Islamabad police; to say ‘Jai Hind’; heres more
In an interesting turn of events the Islamabad Police filed a complaint against an unidentified person they assumed to be Indian.
The man has reportedly made many a calls to their control room asking them to raise ‘Jai Hind’ slogans, as per reports in Pakistan newspapers.
The caller reportedly flooded the phone-lines of the Islamabad Police control room on December 25 and demanded he be put on the phone with senior police officials.
He allegedly even issued threats to the officers who took his call.
Initially, the cops couldn’t ascertain the nationality of the caller through his language but they were offended by him constantly saying ‘Jai Hind’ and therefore assumed he is Indian.
The man even identified himself later as one ‘Zashe’.
As the caller line identification of the control room was dysfunctional, the officers-in-charge had to take help from the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) to trace the caller’s number which in turn confirmed the call to be from India.
