Canadian husband revealed American wife was raped by captors

Stark details are emerging in the case of an Canadian-American couple who were rescued from Afghan terrorist group with the help of Pakistan security forces.

The Canadian husband has told media persons that his wife was raped repeatedly by the captors during captivity and one infant daughter born during that period was killed.

Husband Joshua Boyle, American wife Caitlan Coleman and their three children landed in Toronto late Friday night after they were rescued in a joint effort between the U.S. and Pakistan this week.


The couple had been kidnapped in 2012 while they were hiking in Afghanistan, and Coleman, who is from Pennsylvania, went on to have four children in captivity.
