Capable persons should help the needy, says Governor

Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel presented mementos and citations to children of Delhi Public School, Kolar Road at their third annual day celebrations for obtaining the first position in the primary, middle and higher secondary classes, for best performance in sports and children for best performance in the field of music.

She thanked the school management for providing buses to take the children of Raj Bhawan family to a Sanchi tour and for their active contribution in Padhe Bhopal.

The Governor said that every capable person should help the needy. Big schools should help small schools with the same spirit and try to bring the poor children forward.

She said that if people go to such schools on their birthdays and distribute fruits and sweet to children, they will not only make them happy, but also get self-satisfaction.

At the outset, the school management welcomed the Governor and too her autographs on her own photograph. A student of the school Sushri Kamalpreet Kaur presented the Governor with her painting made out of charcoal. In the second phase of the programme, cultural programmes were presented by the children of the schools.
