CBSE Board 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the Class 10 and Class 12 board examination 2020 new dates and evaluation plan soon. As per reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with chief ministers of all states on Saturday and the key agenda of the meet will be on whether to extend the lockdown imposed nationwide to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
Last week, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ said that a plan is ready for conducting the pending CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2020. Moreover, the strategy of evaluation of CBSE board answer scripts will also be announced soon as the situation improves and the lockdown is lifted.
In view of the prevailing situation amid the coronavirus outbreak, it is likely that the CBSE Board Exam 2020 for only main subjects that will be required for promotion and maybe crucial for admissions in higher educational institutions will be conducted next month.
When will the remaining board examinations be conducted?
With regard to rescheduling board examinations for classes 10 and 12, it is informed that at this stage it is difficult for the board to decide and announce the new schedule for examinations.
However, it is informed that any decision that the board will take with regard to the conduct of examinations will be taken by undertaking extensive consultation with higher education authorities and by keeping all aspects related to entrance exams, admissions dates, etc. in mind. in this context, it is further informed that the board will give notice of about 10 days to all stakeholders before starting the board examinations.
