CBSE paper leak; Delhi police nabs three more from Himachal

It took a lot of technical analysis to reach these accused

With CBSE paper leak probe ongoing, the Delhi Police claimed to have cracked the nexus and has even gone on to arrest three people including the mastermind from Himachal Pradesh’s Una district.

The arrests were made on Saturday itself, police sources informed.

Police said that the accused has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, a teacher while others include Amit Sharma, who is a clerk and Ashok Kumar, who is employed as peon in DAV Centenary Public School.

It is said that these people may have leaked class XII economics paper as early as three days prior to the examination.

They also used the social media giant Whatsapp to circulate the papers. Police claims to have recovered two mobile phones used for transmitting the question paper.

It took a lot of technical analysis to reach these accused and the police were able to trace digital footprints of WhatsApp all the way to Una.

It is said that the accused have also gone ahead and committed to the felony.

Earlier, Delhi crime branch arrested two private school school teachers and a coaching centre tutor from Bawana area in connection with the paper leak.
