The ongoing tussle within the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) has finally been resolved.
The senior office bearers of the CCCI deliberated over the issue and then resolved to retain Jitendra Barlota as its chief.
Jitendra Barlota had earlier resigned and it was reported that sharp differences had emerged causing the decision.
The prominent faces who took part in today’s meeting included Lalchand Gulwani and treasurer Prakash Agrawal apart from Jitendra Barlota.
The office bearers once again resolved to work for the betterment of the trading and business community.
It need be mentioned that Congress had called for shutdown over the rising fuel prices after which te chief of the CCCI tendered his resignation.
It is said that the decision of the CCCI to support the bandh call of Congress had angered a section of the CCCI that is considered close to BJP.
It is soon after that Jitendra Barlota tendered his resignation.>
