The Central Government has merged the two existing schemes, namely S. S. A and R. M. S. A into a new programme.
The new programme will be known as “Sabko Shiksha Achhi Shiksha”. This new programme will now cater the needs of students from Nursery to Class 12th.
As per the decision of Modi Cabinet, the new programme will be having a time frame of two years, that is, the programme will be implemented from 1st April 2018 to March 2020.
The Modi cabinet has approved a total outlay of Rs. 75,000 Crores for this new programme,which is 20 percent more than the current allotment.
The main objectives of the new porgramme:
“Sabko Shiksha Achhi Shiksha” is to provide quality education to all the students from Nursery class to Senior Secondary level in a uniform manner.
Now the focus will be more on IT based teaching learning in class rooms and to enable teachers on IT based teachers training in the country, so that quality education may be inoculate to all the students.>
