Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has condemned the naxal attack on security forces in Dantewada that led to martyrdom of six personnel so far.
CM Dr Singh also expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs and injured jawans.
Dr Singh also prayed for the early recovery of the injured personnel.
Chief Minister Dr Singh said that the martyrdom of those who laid down their lives in the line of duty will forever be remembered.
It need be mentioned that jawans from Chhattisgarh Armed Forces and local police were on travel to road construction site when their Bolero vehicle sustained IED blast.
The blast was so massive that the vehicle itself got halved and five jawans were martyred on the spot of blast itself.
Two jawans sustained serious injuries after which they were rushed to the Kirandul hospital.
But one of the injured succumbed to his injuries there taking the toll to six.
It is said that martyrs includes three from the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces and three from the local district police force.
Chief Minister Dr Singh said that this attack is yet another cowardly attack on the security forces.
He said that naxals don’t want the tribals to have access to basic amenities and thus have yet again proven their anti-people and anti—development mindset.
Dr Singh said that despite such a setback, the government is committed to building road network across the restive areas of the Chhattisgarh.>
