Amid attempts to bring in no-confidence motion in Parliament, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal in what is being said is to garner support for his move against central government.
It need be recalled that the Telugu Desam Party chief discussed the issue of Special Category Status for Andhra state during the meeting.
The TDP leaders said that Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal assured of support to the no confidence motion against central government.
It need be mentioned that it was only last month that the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) had pulled out of the NDA after the its demand of Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh coud not fulfilled.
As of now, the AAP has four MPs in the Lok Sabha.
Since his arrival in Delhi on Tuesday, the Andhra Pradesh chief minister has met leaders from the Congress, Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, AIADMK, DMK and Shiv Sena to drum up support for his demands.>
