Chhattisgarh 10th, 12th Board Exam postponed due to COVID19 surge

The number of corona infected patients in Chhattisgarh is increasing steadily. A total lockdown has been imposed in Raipur district from this evening.

In view of increasing cases of corona infection in Chhattisgarh, State Board of Secondary Education has postponed the class Ten and 12th Board Examination.

These exams were scheduled to be conducted from April 15. Earlier, the state government had announced that students of all the classes, except those from Classes 10 and 12, will be promoted to a higher grade without examinations.

The number of corona infected patients in Chhattisgarh is increasing steadily. A total lockdown has been imposed in Raipur district from this evening.

In order to effectively implement the lockdown in the capital Raipur, a flag march was carried out on the main roads of the city under the leadership of the Collector and Senior Superintendent of Police of the district this evening. The lockdown in Raipur district will continue till the morning of April 19.

In Rajnandgaon, Bemetra, and Balod districts of the state, the lockdown will begin from tomorrow and in Jashpur district the lockdown will be imposed from April 11. In Durg district, lockdown has already been effective from the 6th April.
