Chhattisgarh CM calls upon Collectors to provide basic services in time-bound manner

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel in a letter to all District Collectors greeted them on the New Year.

In a letter to all the top district officials he gave them clear guidelines regarding the priorities of the new State Government.

Chief Minister called upon the Collectors to clear all the pending grievances’ files as soon as possible by 15th January.

The top priority is public-utility services meant for the common citizens. The services should be catered in a time-bound manner.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel in his letter said that it had been observed that the common citizens are made to visit the State Government offices at
regular intervals even for petty matters. The services are not provided in a prescribed time limit.

The status of the pending applications should be updated latest by 7th January. The Chief Minister also called upon the top district officials to clear all pending applications by 15th January 2019.

He also mentioned that he will personally oversee the files and strict departmental action will be taken against the concerned District officials.
