Chhattisgarh Chief Minister too reacted sharply to the controversy over the National Citizen Register ongoing in Assam state.

Interacting with the media persons, he said that outsiders are making their way in the country and that they need to be evicted.

He was talking to the media persons when participating in the Mobile Tihar program in Durg district.

The CM said that the issue is being monitored by the Supreme Court and thus there need not be any twist to the issue.

CM Dr Raman Singh added that it was in the Congress tenure that the committee on the issue was constituted.

It need be mentioned that the politics in the country is heated up on this issue with BJP favouring strict action against those found intruders while the opposition parties are insisting that no genuine citizens must be deprived of their rights.
