Chhattisgarh Governor directs Universities to conduct a corona awareness campaign

There is a dire need to increase public participation to deal with this Pandemic.

Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey has written a letter to the Vice-Chancellors of all government and private universities of the state and directed them to conduct a campaign through the students and staff of the university to make the people aware of the measures to prevent corona infection.

In his letter to the Vice-Chancellors of the Universities, the Governor has said that Corona infection is increasing rapidly in the country and the state as well. There is a dire need to increase public participation to deal with this Pandemic.

She said that at this time of crisis it is necessary that people should follow the guidelines issued by the Central and State Government and adopt Covid appropriate behaviour. The Governor said that students and teachers of universities can prove to be very useful in making people aware of the precautionary measures and motivating them to take the Covid vaccine. She said that social media can be used effectively for this purpose.
