Chhattisgarh: Over 5.82 lakh people administered COVID-19 vaccine in state
More than four lakh eight thousand healthcare and frontline workers have been administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the state so far.

In Chhattisgarh, the Covid-19 vaccination drive is going on in full swing. So far, almost five lakh 82 thousand COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the state to different eligible categories of the people.

More than four lakh eight thousand healthcare and frontline workers have been administered the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the state so far.
Over one lakh three thousand health and frontline workers have taken the 2nd dose. According to the state health department, about 58 thousand beneficiaries of more than 60 years old and almost 12 thousand beneficiaries aged 45 and above with specific co-morbidities have been inoculated with vaccine doses.
Total 274 new confirmed cases of Corona virus infection were reported during the last 24 hours in the state. With this, the total number of Covid19 cases detected so far in Chhattisgarh has reached up to 3 lakh 13 thousand 808. Out of these, about 3 lakh seven thousand patients have recovered. Currently, about two thousand eight hundred Covid positive patients are being treated in various hospitals or are in home isolation in the state.
